I rented a car at the Nice airport and drove all over southern France and it was amazing. It is so easy to drive in France and even though I didn’t speak the language (well enough) I still found it easy to get where I needed to go and plenty of great service at every stop. I highly recommend this for a solo traveler. I felt so at peace in this journey.
